So I saw several 4dr car with similar modification.
What I had planned was to shave the rear door handles and hide the handles in the front of the rear door in the jamb.
Also saw where a guy use metal or weld too build up the rear gaps so they are closer.
I also had thought about adding opening solenoids in rear doors just for fun.
Any thoughts positive or negative?
Main reason is its a Sports Roof is no post between the doors.

see it done on 50s cars alot. it looks ok on them cause the handles are huge and in a odd spot. personally the 60s 4 door hardtop cars look great as is. spend the money and time on something else.

I would sell that one and get a 2 door.

Well lets see, this car has some history with a buddies dad, I tried to get the car years back because of the condition and and such and if I sold it I would get less than a 2 dr would cost to buy. Since lookinf for parts I might get $1000-$2000 if someone likes parts and condition, a comparable 2 dr would cost 2 to 3 times that, maybe. AND probably have multiple bad repairs hidden, much abuse and such.
This car I feel will look and run good, dare to be different style. And I have found many people building 4drs, and they have been looking good.
Just hope I can make THIS 4dr look and run good enough. But then if I like it and it looks good enough too me who cares, right?

i just feel its pointless to try and pose it as a 2 door. i agree if you want a 2 door buy one. otherwise build a awesome 4 door. its different imo.
