Hi all,

All my front setup is stock with the 2 parts rotor + outer hub. Is the hub bolted on the rotor ?

Do you know a slotted rotor I can use to replace ?
Do I have to put the hub back on top of the new rotor ?

Thanks for the help

Yes. The rotor bolts in from behind the hub. Pull the caliper then the hub & rotor will come off as one unit. Most replacement rotors are a single piece with the hub integral to the rotor like newer vehicles. You can get replacement rotors that will bolt to the back of your hub but they are more money than an updated single piece rotor / hub due to the rarity of the application.

Most brake parts suppliers offer a slotted, dimpled & slotted or cross drilled & slotted version of their replacement rotors. I got mine from NAPA. USA made castings.

You can also get a Wilwood D52 caliper that will bolt right in place of your current calipers with no other changes other than needing new brake hoses to match.

Thank you 68TT,
D52's looks nice for my tight budget.
Do you think this kind of rotor should bolt back to the hub ?

Gil those look like 1-piece replacement rotors, Stoptech makes good parts i would go with them. Also agree on the D-52 calipers from Wilwood

Thanks mate,
Means I can bolt back the hub on it or not ?
Or maybe I have to get a hub behind the rotor ? But then I'm twice lost.
I saw single pieces with the hub integral to the rotor @ Summit also but none seems as nice as this rotor from Stoptech
This is a bit tricky to me as I don't want to buy stuff that won't fit....
Thanks anyway

Maybe contact stoptech and ask what is involved in swapping over to their rotors. It might just bolt on with out any issues. Seems like all the pictures im finding are generic pictures.
