How about a "Bubble" for an autocross/Open Track Car?

Just picked up this low mileage 1995 Caprice EVOC beauty from the Illinois State Police.

Full roll cage, updated suspension and a LT1 for power.

Two Tons of Fun!!!

You're right about the weight, great motor though, one of my buddies are taking the motor out of a '95 caprice a lot like yours and putting it in his 1946 chevy

They like to lean a lot in the turns. Make sure that you check out the door handles after a run and see if you have any scrape marks on them. Other than that, they didn't handle that bad for a heavy car.

After you A/X it, turn it into a ChumpCar!

Up and Running!!!

Mouse ate 1 wire on the Opti-Spark harness near the plenum. Repaired properly and the car runs great. A new fuel pump, starter and battery helped a lot also.

Car runs and drives great! Sure do get a lot of looks rolling down the road. Already put 200 miles on the car running errands. Gotta a couple of thumbs up from the Metro Police squad and one of local "Evil Knievel's" on a bike.

Time to wash, buff polish and wax. I'm thinking about leaving the glue from the Illinois State Police on the car and adding a bunch of stickers. Found a DSE sticker and threw it on the front fender.

Looks Good!!!

I'm using 45H0184 Front coils with Bilstein AK1053 shocks and Speedway 252514-175 rear coils with Bilstein AK5030R rear shocks on my daily driver '95 9C1. Combined with 255/50R17 front tires and 275/50R17 rear tires on Impala SS rims made a HUGE difference in handling on the street. I still haven't tried Auto-X yet, but I would love to.
