I have a 69 camaro and need to know what gaskets are best to prevent leaks into the trunk-from what I hear people silicone gasket to the lens and then put Vaseline on the gasket that touches the metal to seal it out but what is the best actual gasket to use?!!! Thanks!!

We've used just regular reproduction ones from Ricks Camaros or The Parts Place, all seem to work out ok.
By the way, just FYI.... I have seen at least 3 other threads of yours requesting the same exact info. If you post a reply to your original thread, it'll have the same effect as starting a new thread, without cluttering up the tech section it's in.
