I already called west end, and he said he wasn't really working on hot rods anymore. Does anyone know of an alignment shop of similar caliber/reputation that can do the work? Car is a 1969 Camaro with an AME front clip and TCI rear torque arm
Thanks

Just about any shop that is in the alignment business can do a decent job for you if you bring them the numbers you want them to align. If you do not have the numbers, just about any speed shop can help you but, you need to tell them how you want the car to handle so they can crank in the numbers for your alignment. If it is just for the street, 0 to -.5 degrees for the camber, 3-4 degrees positive caster, and zero toe should work fine. The caster is essentially for a flat surface roadway and not a crowned surface roadway.
For autocrossing, I would need to know what tires you are running, the size of the wheel, shocks, spring rate, etc.
Off the top of my head, Guldstrand would be a safe bet and they are in Culver City

Guldstrand isn't running the business. I would look at Valley Pacific frame and alignment. They are good, bring them some specs and tell them what you are wanting out of the car and they will get it dialed in.

Your going to have to do your own alignments if you want to experience the full potential.......

You're right, they're in Burbank now. They used to be in Culver City years ago. Sorry about that.

Thanks for the advice..
Wheels are 18 275/40 on all four corners.. I belive the front spring is 500# for a small block
I ended up setting an appoitment this saturday with Johnson Alignment in torrance. I have the street and track specs for the front per Art Morrison and figured I'd have the guy go somewhere in the middle for "aggressive street"
AME street:
toe 0-1/16 in
camber -1/2 degree
caster +5-5.5
AME track:
toe: 1/32 out
camber -1.5 to -1.75
caster 5-5.5
What I'm thinking, basically right in the middle
toe-0
camber -1
caster 5.25

Give that a try and see how you like it. Don't forget the brand/model of tire, shocks, and the shock settings, and size of sway bars need to be factored in.

Oh, one other factor, if you have coil overs and if they are adjustable, corner weight the car for 50/50% cross and give that a try.
