My TH350 recently started having an issue shifting from 2nd to 3rd. The transmission shifts fine for about 45 minutes under normal driving and even hard acceleration. After that time it acts like the shift point from second to third moves way up in the RPM range and shifts about 10mph later. I am about to change trans fluid and the filter, it's about time for service, but from what I have read it sounds like a modulator issue. I am just stumped, because it happens after driving for some time, and not right away. Reverse, and the 1st to 2nd shift is fine. Anyone experienced this before?
I am also looking at installing a B&M shift kit. It has the option to install as a street/strip or heavy duty kit. What does everyone recommend for autocrossing? Right now it is pretty much stock.
