Yes, it was announced at SEMA. The plan is to run them as two separate companies and perhaps transfer a few wheel styles between the two companies. Its a good fit. The new Weld Racing is run by some aggressive enthusiasts. My time there solidified my choice of wheel for my current project. Glad to see them back and doing so well.

I like what Weld is doing but a few different finish options would be nice. I have always liked CCW's. I will likely go with one of those two companies if I ever do a set of track shoes.

I have always wanted some 505a wheels, hopefully this makes them more affordable, haha

The only thing I didn't like about a set of CCWs I bought for a Cuda project was they were 18 x 9s and 10s. However, they only used centers from a 17" wheel so the outer needed a double lip. I'm an F43 dealer, so no worries about that anymore...
