Looking at all of the popular 200TW tires these days, do any if them hook?
I know straight line traction is kinda low-brow for this forum, but I'm curious how well any if these tires grip when "aggressively merging" onto the highway, for example.
Are any of the Autocross-bred tires good for acceleration?

On the street my 200TW Falkens hook similar to 0TW BFG Drag Radials so yeah. I had 340TW that I had a really hard time getting traction with. I'm very happy with the Falkens.

That's awesome, thanks.
Can anyone else endorse their tires?

The Falken 615's hook OK, but nothing like my Nitto Drag Radials, they flat hooked for me, you just can't run a 100TW in most AutoX competitions.

I have a set of Dunlop Direzza ZIIs and was happy with their drag performance.
They are 200tw, and i have 255/35/18s.

I don't have a lot of HP, like 420 at the motor.
3200lb, 6 speed, 373s and it ran 12.84.

i have the falkens for street tires, and the Hankook Rs3 for racing/autocross.. i have a limit on tire size (500hp w/ 225/45r15) so both are sketchy when cold but after they have some heat "look out"! on the street i can dump it in 1st and the hankooks will hook. on a strip, neither one likes to grip and go.

Those are the AZENIS RT-615K Falkens, right? I wish they made them in the sizes I need.
Any other tires that "hook" well? How about the NItto NT555 (not the drag 555)?

I have had both Azenis 615k and Rivals on my car and the rivals hook so well that the it has very bad under steer with Falken's in front and Rivals in back. With Falken's all the way around it is neutral. I had to go up 50 lbs/" on the rear springs and down 50 lbs/" on front springs and it still under steers, so yes they hook. We have pictures of the car almost pulling the front wheels off the ground exiting a corner, it is in full droop and barely touching with those Rivals in back. (335/30/18 rivals and 315/30/18 Falkens)
