This thread will serve as a landing place for pictures that we (maybe) take during SEMA this week.
And I suppose we can share a little bit of what is going in our booth this year.
Meet "Illusion", the '69 Camaro we just unloaded in Las Vegas. Your eyes to not deceive you, those are 405mm rear tires! Currently being built by the crew at Relentless Rides in Ukiah, CA, on a Chassisworks installed gStreet Chassis (http://www.cachassisworks.com/cac_press_67-69Camaro.html), "Illusion" will be a Pro-Touring beast designed to push limits and challenge perception from the groundbreaking chassis to it's in-your-face styling! See more of this machine in booth 22893. I'll be releasing more pics as time allows.

I don't think the finished product came out exactly how the designer intended. Kinda like my pencil drawings - my mind sees one thing, my hand draws something else.

Pretty wild for sure.....Very futuristic.
They have some front and side pics on the builders FB page.
I think if you were a Star Wars Stormtrooper, this would most definitely be the ride for you.......

Thanks. We installed our gStreet chassis in this Camaro last year and the builder has been working pretty furiously ever since. It's not done yet, just in primer. The front will come down quite a bit once the engine is installed, too.
Here it is last week when we saw it for the first time and loaded it up in our tractor.

Here's another Chassisworks equipped vehicle at the show this year. Built by Casey Scranton's CGS Performance Products, this 2015 Mustang GT has our 7154 rear frame with Canted 4-bar rear suspension. PACKAGE DETAILS HERE. (http://www.cachassisworks.com/p-1559-canted-tubular-pivot-ball-4-link-rear-clip-4x2-frame-rails.aspx) And because stock is never enough, there's a Whipple charger under the hood! I'm personally really excited to see this car completed as I worked hard to get Casey parts for a car that he didn't have in his hands until the last minute.

This Mustang has a factory-welded FAB9™ housing and VariShock Q4-R 4-way adjustable coilover shocks with remote reservoirs.

The remote reservoir for the Q4-R shocks from VariShock are mounted in the truck with included hardware. Just pop the lid for easy dampening adjustments.

Just realized that we probably have the highest percentage of cars on 405/24 rear tires this year.

The white Camaro is built on a Chassisworks gStreet chassis. The owner/builder brought it to us with lots of issues. It's a real Camaro, but the floors had already been replaced once, and at least one quarter. Relentless Rides is a new shop run by Dallas Nelson in Ukiah (Northern California) and they are the driving force behind the concept. Dallas is younger than most people who pay to have muscle cars built and is building it for himself.
For our part, Chris has a streak of that same contrarian attitude and likes that the car is so polarizing. I'm quite enjoying reading all the interesting comments across the web.
Here's a photo of the driver's side door opening. To answer the inevitable question; 5 inches per side.

nah fugouttahere... even dropping it "a little" aint going to help that.. the things got sideskirts like origami celery.
that thing says "RIDES" feature all over it.. im sure Riff Raff would love the car.
and the taillights.. man he could have flipped em over to at least match the sidecorners of the rear fenders..
this makes the Baldwin Motion Camaro look tame.. and I didnt think that could be done.. lol.

Speaking of tame...Anyone here drive a Camry? How about one with VariShock extended-travel struts up front, VariShock coilovers in the back, and one with a Chassisworks Eliminator-II chassis?
If you want one, we knew a guy..

Looks like something West Coast Customs would build for a celebrity who knows nothing about cars. I always get so sad when people take everything everyone comes to love about these classic cars and totally destroys it.... This will be another car people will continue to talk about but not in a good way. To much money, to much imagination.

I don't think the car looks all that bad. I definitely have to give someone credit for trying to do something a little different. Incorporating some aerodynamic and other functional features into the body design as well as I am sure an amazing suspension underneath. Although I feel that things are a bit to edgy and sharp. The lines need smoothing a bit here and there. I do agree about the tail lights which feel upside down. I think that I will need to see more of the car and at ride height before I say it is just terrible. I think it is interesting and have saw worse for sure. Keep the updates coming I want to see more.

Dallas and Rick of Relentless Rides (https://www.facebook.com/RelentlessRides) are in our booth today to answer questions about the white Camaro they are building. I think they are wearing Kevlar so I'm sure they would love to meet some of you guys. :machine: :) Haha!
In other news, here's a couple pics of another wild and crazy car that we supplied parts for this year. I'm stuck at my desk in Sacramento, but I'm told I should have more pics of some more conventional builds later today.
Toyota Motorsports called up our dealer accounts manager this summer and they had a pretty interesting converation. At the end we had an order for a complete Eliminator-II chassis. It has extended travel double adjustable QS-2 VariStruts up front and QS-2 VariShock coilovers in the back. If you look at the car up close they have spacers in the springs so that it sits at ride height while at SEMA. They pull the spacers out and it's at the proper, as-designed, height for making some passes.

I do, too. CGS has done several builds for Ford and a couple for Chevy, too. They always do black and red and keep it pretty tasteful.

This Hudson pickup is riding on our g-Machine front crossmember melded into the stock frame, and our Pro-Street rear 4-link. The guys at www.painthousetx.com finished the build and laid the immaculate paint. It got a Top-10 Mother's Shine award this morning and was also a Goodguys Truck Of The Year Finalist.
Here's a shot of it lining up outside, and a couple photos we have on file.

I hope to see the car in person on Friday at SEMA. The Camaro reminds me of the "Dark Knight" Batmobile...and I really like that Batmobile.

Should have taken a new Camaro and done what that guy did to it, not a 69. Also, how old is this gentleman that designed the car? If he's in early 20's then I can understand. And the wagon wheels craze has gone overboard. I wish it would stop!!

Sorry for the slow response, I went on vacation.
The owner/builder of the white Camaro is in his early/mid 30s. This is not his first, or second, muscle car and he was bored with the more traditional builds he had before. Feedback from women at the show was overwhelmingly positive. I thought that was interesting and notable.

This Mustang was parked out front. It's built by B-Rod or Custom and features their custom chassis based on our Street Machine modular front crossmember. Couple more pics - http://www.caranddriver.com/flipbook/15-of-the-hottest-classics-at-sema-porsches-mustangs-off-roaders-and-more#3
