Hi guys,

I'm thinking of selling my Chevelle (if the price is right).
It's a '72 Chevelle SS with the 350 and a 4 speed manual. It's a matching numbers, also the gearbox is the original one.
Engine has been rebuild around 3-4 years ago, gearbox only 1000 miles ago and has a new clutch.
It's an AC model (currently the compressor is broken..)
It's not the original paint but it's the original color.
Interior has new pieces, no cracks in the dash or so.
No rust, clean undercarriage and no rust in the trunk.

Real ss with a 350? I knew camaros did this but I didn't know chevelle did. Any ways about 4 or 5 years ago when I bought my nova my cousins friend had a 72 he was trying to sell me an ss clone with a mildly built 454 and th400. had some rust under the paint so it was bubbling in quite a few places. Other than that it was nice not nearly as nice as what yours looks like from the pics.i kick my self for not buying it for 7k cause he sold it to a stranger 2 hrs later for 12k. Any ways I would guess a rust free numbers matching car would bring at least 20k. A really # matching ss I would imagine more.

Yes, they did it:

I'm wondering if the manual transmission (also the original one) and AC will boost the price or not?
Also, I'm wondering how much 350 SS there were build, not many I guess ..

That's awesome learn something new every day and yes 4 speed cars an ac cars are worth a lot more than auto or non ac. Is it a 12 bolt possi? And what 350 is it an Lt1 or another high out put 350?

I looked at that link and saw the 350 offered. Does yours have camel hump heads? I think you probably have a very rare car remaining all original if serious about selling I would get it appraised. My dad got his 69 # matching z28 appraised and it shocked us all at the number he came back with cause when he got it appraised it was mid restoration and in about a million pieces.

Yeah maybe I have to get it appraised, I didn't know it was so rare... I just bought it kinda cheap from an old lady (husband died), shipped it here and they I saw it was matching numbers and all. Did some interior work and here it is .
I'm not sure it's a 12 bolt posi, I don't have the car here (it's at the shop for regulations).

It seems like a 12 bolt.
those head bumps I'm not sure, I have to look at it when it got here.
I keep you posted !

I'm wondering, is there any way to see exactly how many Chevelle SS 350 with 4 speed are made ?
I don't know if it's possible.
