Hub sticking through rushforth wheels on 73 camaro...anyone know of a fix?

Purchased Rushforth 18x8 rated x wheels and installed on my 73 Camaro, the hub sticks through too far to allow the center cap to be installed...anyone know of a different spindle? hub?...that would work?

Which hub do you have? If you can correct it with a small spacer that'd be the easiest way out.

its a 2inch drop spindle, everything else is stock.

All spindles designed for that car will have the same "snout" length. So there's not much that you can do here. No matter what the solution, it's going to push the wheel further out just like a spacer would. Either that or get new wheels with a thicker pad, with a wider inner shell and a narrower outer rim shell. :)

How much does it stick out? I had that problem with my old Baer brakes and they recommended OEM dustcaps. That did the trick.
