Hi Guys,

I may be a new member, but I've been a fan of this site for a long time and thought it was finally time to start participating! This is my 1969 Chevelle I picked up in San Diego about 4 years ago and have spent a lot of hours ($$) on already. I do everything myself and am learning a lot in the process. It was a factory inline 6/powerglide car so I have no reservations about cutting it up and making it exactly what I want. The car has sat for the last two years while I built a 65 Mustang for my wife (which we sold to pay for the wedding :)) and now it's time to get back to business! I'll have to track down some photos of when I first got it, but here's some of what I've done and basically how it sits today. Here's a list of some things I've done so far...

Replaced floorpans from fire wall to trunk
Pulled body off the frame
Mini Tubbed the wheel wells
Boxed entire frame
Notched the frame at the rear wheels, added reinforcing bar at back
Powder Coated frame
All new suspension from Hotchkis TVS Extreme Kit
406SBC that made 507hp on the dyno
700R4 from Monster Transmissions
Hooker Super Comp Ceramic Coated Headers
Installed 6 point cage (tied to frame), but think I'm going to convert to 10pt

Plans include, but not limited to...
Fiberglass Fenders, Bumpers, Hood, and Trunk
Smooth Firewall
Custom Aluminum Front Fenderwells w/ brake cooling ducts
C6 ZO6 Brakes front and Rear
C6 ZO6 Wheels 18x8.5 front and 19x12 rear
Lexan Windshields (and maybe quarter windows)
TCI Outlaw Shifter
Custom door panels
Fuel Cell
the list goes on and on and on

I'm out in Ventura County. Going to try and post some better pics of the car this week and work on getting rid of the rust and those drip rails.
