i put 19s and 22s on mine. a 20 in the front will be somewhat hard to clear, you will have to lift the car to get it to clear.

If it were my car,I would run 18x8's with 4.5" backspacing or 18x9's with 5.5" backspacing on the front. Run a 255 tire with the 8's or a 275 with the 9's.
On the rear,a pair of 20x10's with 6" backspacing and a 295/40 tire should work like a champ. Don't run under 5.5" backspacing with a 10.
I've run the above combos before.

USA Zr1, would this rear tire/rim combo work on a 69 camaro with stock rear suspension? I am buying 20s for the rear also and need to know what will fit.

I wish I could fit a 19-22 combo on my bird. That combo looks so good

I don't think so. A-bodies have a little larger wheelwell area and can handle bigger rolling stock, especially the 68-72's.
