I am finishing the twin to my car. I bought it for my wife but found a ragtop and built it instead. Now it is time to finish this one and send it down the road.
The original motor and trans are missing so I added a iron block LS motor and matching 4 speed automatic trans from a '02 Tahoe. I love the fuel injection. It roars alive with the hum of the fuel pump. I updated the front suspension with upper and lower tube control arms and disc brakes.

Beautiful. Not much finer than a 67 RS/SS 4-speed with a 12-bolt!

I took it for a spin today. Ran and stopped great! I have a new Dakota dash but the gauges aren't connected to the engine harness yet. The rest of it is hooked up and it looks nice.
Also, I hooked up the new hidden headlights using the Retro-Electro kit. It is a real simple, small, kit that attaches to the headlight buckets with minimal mods. I used that before and they still work great.
Looking good, can't see you keeping it for long.

All together but tons of mods already planned.Hopefully USCA will book Daytona in 2016. I would love to drive a modified version of this on the high banks.

Thanks Steve. I was able to drive it three times this week!! I'm taking it to have the rear serviced next week then I plan to put more miles on it. There is less than 200 miles on the build. So exciting!
