I'm heading to Memphis soon.. anyone in the area??

Flying out Thursday to Memphis, TN to cover the MSD True Street event at the raceway. This is part of the Fastest Street Car Pro Edelbrock drag racing series.

If anyone wants to go along and hang out let me know. I think I have an extra ticket or two. I will be busy working and that involves taking picture and picking an "editors choice" from the field of cars.

Which brings up this point.. If you have a PT car and are in the area you should enter the event (if it's not too late) since that would give me more cars to chose from. The Editors Choice car will also get a feature shot by me and my new gear. I'm no Hunkins but I think the pics will be better than some magazines.. lol

I am going to school in Memphis (Rhodes College), so I'll be around... The firebird is at home in Tallahassee... so I guess i can't enter it.. PM me and I'll give you my cell number if you're interested in meeting up at some point. I'm free thursday and friday afternoon/evening as well as all of satruday afternoon. I was planning on going to the Race at somepoint not sure when though.

At least my F-body is not a camaro! Go Poncho Power! Though what else could a high school kid afford 5 years ago? I must say I am waiting until i finish the engine (440 ci. EFI Pontiac) and suspension the I will spring for some different wheels. For the time being I am the only F-body in Tallahassee, FL with 17" TTII wheels... At least that I have seen!

LOL, notice the wheels on my other car. I like TTII's, in fact last time Steve was looking for a car to shoot, I owned what he could not use, a 69 camaro with TTII's......That is why I made the smarta** comment. Hey, at least it was running....
