My convertible top [1966 Lemans] requires a 40 amp relay. Is there a 2 pole type electronic relay that will replace the old type relay

Why not update the circuit a bit? Are you wanting to retain a stock type design? If not, I have a variety of applications using delay-off relays where you can use a solid state relay to power it and, with a delay circuit/timer built-in, you can essentially have a one touch activation to open the top. PM me if interested, I can design a dedicated harness just for your top-beck, I could even supply you with a harness to give you express open AND close of that top....that'd be pretty cool IMO. Not sure if any "BIG" harness companies offer it but I build custom harnesses for just such custom applications.
