Ls2 with ls3 heads and intake... What throttle body

Alright so pretty much as the subject says I have an 07 trailblazer ss engine with ls3 heads on it running an ls3 intake with ls7 injectors and rails. Problem is I don't know which throttle body to run.. I have a 90mm cable throttle body but my engine is a 58x reluctor and I've heard mixed things about the lingenfelter conversion box so I'm thinking about doing an electronic throttle body now. There is a website that sells the accelerator pedal standalone harness and choice of e40 e67 or e63 for $600. I have a 06 trailblazer ss throttle body would thst be able to bolt on my ls3 intake? Is the pcm going to determine that at all? I'm lost with this electronic stuff

Your Trailblazer TB should work fine. You would not be able to use the E40 because its for 24x. If I'm not mistaken most of the aftermarket guys use the E38. I'm not sure why GM chose both the E38 and E67 for the 58x engines if they both offer the same result? I would probably go with the E38 controller since its pretty standard among most harness rework companies. $600 for all of that seems like a really good price....

Ya that's what I was thinking currentperformance. Com has it for 575 computer harness and pedal. 625 t add two fan relays

The e67 from what I have researched was used in alot of v6 and v8 car applications and has three connectors as the e38 was in pickups and has just two connectors

I have an 08 Trailblazer LS2 with LS3 heads/intake AND throttle body. It came with the intake, not sure what size it is, I am using a GMPP LS3 controller & harness.

You can use ether the truck Gen IV throttle body or the car style (LS3/LS7 car LS2) throttle body. The connectors are the same but I believe the truck one is 87mm vs. 90mm for the car TB.

If you already have the TBSS TB, I would run that one, if not, verify what application your pcm is for and choose the correct one

be careful, the "silver blade" (LS2) and the "gold blade" (LS3) are not interchangeable! ( they are wired differently and open opposite each other)

Forgot to mention this... I believe the LS7 tb is the same in this right. Whichever you choose to use, do it before you order your harness and ECU.

well i ended up selling my truck ls2 intake with that throttle body and im going to buy another throttle body now. i figured i just want to find the whole setup from the same vehicle. and i need an accelerator pedal. ive noticed alot of people sell the accelerator pedal but not the tac module. is a tac module required? where can i find a complete setup for the dbw setup? any recommendations off what vehicle. i have a stock ls2 harness off an 08 trailblazer if that helps
