Ever had a car you wish you never sold? Sold a 1968 GS400 Buick to help fund a drag car in my late mid twenties. Always wished I kept it. Wrecked a car I bought new 21 years ago. I don't really know what happened maybe too much power too little tire? Maybe after all these years the odds of doing crazy sh@t finally caught up to me. Anyway Bought a 1969 GS400 as close as I could find to my 68 for a new project. Flew to NY drove it home to Chicago. Half way home on my 550 mile trip I realized how nice it was to cruise on the highway. I also realized how crappy this old GS handled. Turn the big wheel. Wait a second. Along came the roll and the turn. Not what I was used too at all in the past 20 plus years and the brakes forget about it. The days of throw the anchor out came back to me. After I got home safely I started to shop for suspension brakes for my new project and found this website. After seeing some of the cars I realized the direction I wanted to head in. Thanks everybody for the bad influence. Here I go one more time. Look out for the only pro-touring 1969 GS400.:hammer: Thanks Paul Schulz.
