So my car (71 nova) currently has competition engineering bolt In sub frame connectors they work good but hang way too low to go along with the ride tech suspension I am putting in. So I got my dse connectors today but I do not like how it's welded solid to the sub frame. Seems I could just as easy weld the tabs on the sub then bolt them to the connectors making the sub removable in case of repairs or chassis changes later......anyone done them this way?
The other thing I couldn't fathom is someone spending crazy $$ on a sub like Dse''s but then have to spot in the paint after the weld procedure. ....understand if it's a track only car. But this is a street car.
