Hey guys first post. Been lingering here sometime since I got my 74nova. Plan is to give it the handling characteristics and reliable drivetrain like that of a newer car. Would also live to throw a new interior in there like the droptop bird that got the gto treatment!! Love that car btw. It's my inspiration.

Anyways I bought the car and within the 3 months I've owned it, I've stripped it, sealed it using hok sealer/primer and fixed the quarter panels.
The parts list as stands is new fenders and a mn12 t56 from a gto. Nothing special as I just got a new job and I don't have a garage so working on it the way I want is difficult. Lots of jack stands and ****. Haha. Next on the list is shaved firewall single stage black. Body bushings blast the subframe and decide on suspension mods.

Would love to hear if anyone has figured a way to run the new ss brembo kit or is c5 spindle and brakes from cpp my best bet?

Just got a line I some dse tubs so I might snatch those up since I know I want to run at least a 295/18 in the back. Anyways my lunch is over so I'll see about some pics here pretty soon.
Thanks for letting me join and I hope to gain a lot of knowledge here. Later

Sorry guys I totally missed the ball on this. I want to paint my nova 2004 ford cobra mystichrome. But at 3500 a gallon it's a daunting task. How much do I actually need to buy? That's the actual question I need answered

Yea, that stuff is expensive!!! Personally I don't like the looks of it at all, there are so many nice color options to choose from..

I wanted to do it but I have tossed a couple other ideas around.like Lexus pearl white with a candy brandy wine stripe but another local guy already did it so no thanks to that. I just want it to stand out and be clean

Ok so if think I've decided on a color. I'm going with a matte pearl white. It's exactly what u wanted but it has that touch of different that I haven't seem before. I'll definitely still be using a candy brandy wine touch somewhere. Maybe a really thin yenko or rally style stripe and the wheel wells too for that added wow factor. Anyways thanks for saying hello I'll take some pictures and start a new thread in the build section
