Hi, new to the site. I was hoping someone on here could help me with a question I have. I am currently build a 69 Camaro with the Ridetech rear suspension and DSE wheel tubes. Does anyone have a picture of their wheels on the rear with the factory width 12 rear end. I am debating on getting a Strange or Moser 12 bolt rear. I just wasn't sure what that offset would look like with a 335 tire. Will my wheel selection be limited with the factory rear? Or should I buy my wheels and tires and fit the rear end to that? What r most of you guys doing?
Thanks,
Todd

Hi Todd,
There aren't many off the shelf 12" wide wheels, meaning you'll probably have to do something custom. You can also find a cheaper 1 or 2 piece cast wheel and have it widened. If that were the case, it shouldn't be hard to find the correct back spacing.

Thanks for the reply Dale. Is there any wheel company that makes wheels that look like the Forgeline Wheels without the high cost ? Not sure what you mean by buying a 1 or 2 piece wheel and having it widened? I like the look of the satin black / gun metal look. Can you ever find any good deals on used Forgedline wheels? Thanks

Forgeline wheels are mostly 3 piece, which means you can get virtually any back space you need. One piece wheels are the cheap ones you see for 100-300 per wheel and have limited back spacing availability. Two piece wheels have more back spacing options than one piece but cost slightly more than one piece.
Since the one and two piece aren't available in wide sizes in most cases, you'll need to have them widened- whereas Forgeline wheels can be built however wide you need.
Used Forgelines are possible sometimes but usually they've been customized to fit a specific application. We do offer discounts to PT members but you're probably not going to find a used set of Forgelines for less than a couple grand.

Thanks for the reply Dale. I have been looking for a used set of Forgeline wheels. I can have the rear end cut down to fit the wheels.
