A friend of a friend, was using the friends plasma cutter, and it quit..Now, since I'm the guy that fixes everything, it's landed in my garage, for me to figure out. So my question is, is the center tip (that looks like a mig welder tip) suppose to have a hole in it? To me, that seems like where the air would be expelled. I've blown thru the tip hose, and it flows freely, but the inner tip is solid. I've lightly sanded the tip, with emery paper, and it appears to be copper, that is chrome plated, but in the very end, it's a different material.
It's a Giant Tech 50D, and of course it didn't come with any "extra" consumables..

I hope he didn't pay that much for this thing, he could have bought a real one for a little more..
