I bought this Camaro from a good friend two years ago.
He had owned it for 17 years or so before that.
When I bought it the car had an LT1 and T56, it ran great and was a ton of fun to drive. The first thing I did was put on a set of C6 Z06 wheels, the car was already mini tubbed so it meant just moving the springs and narrowing a new tank.

13 years ago I had built another 69 with C4 ZR1 front and rear suspension. The car had an LS1 and T56 which was pretty new at the time.
I never finished that project because I ended up getting divorced and selling all the toys.

The new car was going to allow me to realize that project. Of course now it has to have C6 suspension and an LS3 based engine.

10 years ago before i bought the car.

I haven't got a clue when it comes to setting up a suspension, but I have a question. Will you IRS bind up during travel because the LCA is at an angle and the UCA is mounted level?

Hey Tom.
The lower control arm and upper are mounted at different angles for anti squat. I'm running the stock C6 rear geometry. I know it can be improved but I didn't want to mess with it on this one, its my first IRS with A arms.

I haven't completed the rear quarter pull yet.
I need to install new quarter panels, what you see is just a test with the original panel to see if its possible.
I'll have some updates over the next few months.

Thanks I never realized they were like that I have a C5 z06 and never looked to see if they were angled differently. Thanks for the lesson.
