Cragar soft 8's come in a 17.

Nobody makes them as an off the shelf unit. Ray Evernham had some custom 18s made by one of the Nascar suppliers, Aero I think, for his '64 Belvedere project. They may make them again if you ask nicely.

I'd imagine they are stinking heavy though. The Cragar Soft 8 in 17" weigh something like 30#.

From a Hot Rod Feature on the car: "The wheels are custom units from Wheel Pro. They are modeled after Sprint Cup wheels but are two-piece, 18-inch, and aluminum. There are only four in existence, although Ray has called Wheel Pros to order a spare. They measure 18x91⁄2 with 285/40ZR18 tires"

I think Bassett Racing Wheels (a long time racing wheel builder) built the one's on Johnnie Hunkens PHR Project Laguna. I believe they they will sell to anyone, and offer powdercoat etc. Might be worth a look.

More than that, actually.

Those are gorgeous! If I could readily get those with a 5x5" lug pattern, I'd be all over it. Unobtanium one-offs kind of defeat the appeal, for me, however.
