Designed as the ultimate upgrade for top tier pro-touring performance, the new gStreet spindle provides vastly improved geometry, bearings, and brakes for all Chassisworks’ bolt-on front clips.

Use of this spindle requires Chassisworks new gStreet Wide-Track control arms which provide more gradual geometry changes throughout suspension travel for more direct tire feedback and more linear response to steering and braking inputs under various dynamic conditions.

Specific geometry changes include vastly reduced scrub radius, improved camber gain, and increased caster (8.5 degrees at center of adjustment) without altering the wheelbase. The lightweight upright houses a heavy-duty, sealed unit bearing that is both larger in diameter and considerably more reliable than the commonly used Corvette components.

Completing the gStreet system is the large diameter brake package built around Wilwood Engineering’s race-bred Aero6, 6-piston, radial-mount caliper with 14” or 15” vented rotors

Bangshift had some kind words to say yesterday. They included the word 'drool' so I think they must like it.

Pricing for individual components is up on the website HERE (http://www.cachassisworks.com/c-1338-aluminum-uprights-chassisworks.aspx). It does not reflect the package pricing when purchasing the whole system; that will be up later today or on Monday.

Are you able to share the alum alloy these are built from?

With the possibility of using some existing brakes, would the radial caliper adapters be available separately?

Not real up to date on bearing/spindle/hub packages, how performance wise do these compare to say Z06 set-ups?

And it looks like 3 BC are offered, 4.5, 4.75 and 5/8" 5x5 as standard?

J-C-C,

Of course Carl can answer for Chassisworks. But I saw the spindle, hub & bearing package in production. This is no warmed over C6 spindle copy. This is a scratch built spindle with all the tricks. I got a sneak peek at the bearing design & size. I don't know a rating ... maybe Carl can share that ... but they are stronger than the Z06 stuff.

The upright bodies are made from 7075.

No, the caliper brackets are not available separately.

Our unit-bearing assembly is 30% larger than that of the Corvette ZR-1.

The third bolt circle is for weight reduction.

3 out of 4 ain't bad. lol

Thanks Carl and Ron

How do we get some dimensions to plug into our software and see how to make it all work.

Here's a behind-the-scenes picture of our new gStreet billet aluminum upright. In this pic you can see three phases of machining process: raw billet, first operation, and final operation.
