So... colour is french racing blue from the new Jag's. Everyone that see's the car, first thing they say ... "love the colour !!" Sometimes you just have to take a chance, and I am so glad I did

That passenger side over axle tube looked like a challenge. Way to stick with it, I've been there.

This project is a great example of what can be achieved in a garage. Huge props for an ultra clean build.

Thanks guys, this truly means a LOT coming from members of this forum ... you guys and the builders here set the standard on designing and building some of the nicest cars on the planet and I wanted to see for myself if I could build something in my garage worthy of this forum. Now as a reminder, I did not complete the body work and paint, nor build the 496BBC, but I did do everything else.

Another note, there is no way I could have achieved what I did without the assistance of some of the suppliers/vendors here (as mentioned above), and as well without learning from the SPECTACULAR builds here that inspired me with some of the cool ideas reflected in my car.

A BIG thanks to all ...

Dave, my real issue is the stupid supercomp headers. I had to jack the car up nearly 2" to get ground clearance on those. Looks like I'm going to have a local guy that built my exhaust build me a set of headers this winter.
As far as the X pipe, looks as though its a little more than 3" ... but close

LOL Thanks Tory ... didn`t think I`d see this thread again, well the timing is fitting as `Finally Done`Part 2 is about to be posted ... this time all custom front to back designed and built by me and covered at local shop (New Image) in Toronto. Complete new interior, motor, tranny, etc ... VERY happy and excited to see how it`s all coming together

I love the understated black & silver engine compartment! Great job on the entire car. Just enough bling, but not so much to look gaudy. Very tastefully done. AND it still looks like a 69 camaro!
