Damn, that sounds like my dream job, every bit of that description is fitting and enticing, and I'm looking to getting out of Defense. Too bad I've gotten too many projects sitting around where moving would be a monumental task anymore. Bummer.

If only I was finished with my degree, I'd jump on this in a heartbeat!

We've had a couple of good responses for this position...still accepting resumes. We'll be hiring asap for this...its not something were just fishing around for. Don't be embarressed about feeling "underqualified"...were looking for good common sense people, not neccessarily rocket scientists!

You could always leave some of the projects with me. Eventually I'd finish them.

I'd move there tomorrow and take the job...but I would have to learn all that stuff. I have a degree in Business Management not Engineering. Bummer.

Well, you have to want it first. Sounds like you have that down. Now, how bad do you want it?

I have a official degree in...nothing. But I have a lot of experience in figuring things out and making them work. This includes everything from shocks to cars to marketing to people to money to stubborn suppliers. I get by OK, and maybe a little past that. Are you that guy?

I have a lot of respect for any educational degree...it is an indication of what you should be able to do. Experience and ambition is proof.

Been building cars since I started driving, done a few that really looked good. Professional mechanic, die hard hot rodder and love building cars. Still have two to get started on.
Only thing in that list I dont have is a college degree or training in special software.
I work on grafting new tech into old cars all the time and have more ideas than time or funding to develop.

Some like me on here some hate me some have never met me. BUT imagination intuition and innovation is what I try to do AND I have done it on micro budgets for so long being in a place that would let me actually shine, would be a dream job. Might not get me out of shop at night!.

Got a plan right now too thrash on one car for local cruise/show, still trying to decide which one to start on.
Mid September is my target date, time to start thrashing I believe.

This job would be awesome for ANYONE.
Kind of like a dream job, one step below having my own shop.

That's exactly the job I'll be looking for in 10 years. I don't expect you'll keep the position open for that long though!

Do you guys have an internship/co-op program?
