67-69 Camaro Carbon Fiber L88 Hood bolt on

I have a brand new in the box Carbon Fiber " L88 " style bolt on hood for 1967, 1968 , 1969 Camaro (just out of box for pics)
by IPP Designs/ XE Designs "Body Armor"
this has the gloss finish over the carbonfiber and has a full fiberglass understructure with provisions the bolt up to your stock hinges (requires light weight springs) and the stock hood latch, stainless steel mounting hardware is included

Light weight at 26 lbs.

The L88 scoop is vented with stainless grills both front and rear

I bought this for my car, but a unexpected family issue forces me to sell to free up some funds

I Googled for this hood and found it at only one place, for about $950. The trick is finding any in stock. kinda like Screamin' Performance hood latches, lol.

That being said, this hood looks AWESOME! I'm jealous of whoever gets it.

Where did you find it?
It is my understanding that the company was a casualty of the recession
And $950 was back in 2007/8

www.bmcextremecustoms.net is the only place I see them for sale. I have no idea how old the page is though, so you're probably right about date. All of the pictures show the same Camaro and all references made in forums are from about 2007.

I was looking for pics because I like the hood. It's a cool piece and apparently one of few made. I'm too on-the-fence about the L88 in general so I hope it finds a good home.
