AFCO shocks? Who's using them for Pro-Touring

Is anyone using AFCO coilovers in their PT build? Im thinking of building my own set-up for my 1967 Firebird and was wondering if anyone has used them in a first gen. I'm not sure the correct length body/stroke I'd need, I think that's my biggest obstacle.

Have a friend who has pulled 4 sets, all replaced with Ridetech units. EVERY customer has commented on better ride and handling. He told me the cost was better and the springs are cheaper from all suppliers he sourced. As 3 needed different rates with better shocks. Just saying. My Monza most likely will have Ridetech, if I can get proper length to fit, if not I may have to get serious and remove outer spring pockets,,,,,.

I planed on the Ridetechs, just seeing what other options there are.

We've used Afco for a while on our 65 Tempest and have done well with them. We use Ridetech most often in everything else, and have also used Viking in a few applications. Viking is good, they are generally less expensive than the others but work well.

Some of it comes down to what you're doing with the car.. But we enjoy RideTechs customer service a lot too, they're always helpful and willing to do what it takes if there's a problem.
