I started asking a new automotive forum friend some suspension/handling questions and he suggested I join PT! SSLance said this site has alot of knowledgeable people and sponsors and they will be able to answer my questions. I've heard on most auto forums that the only stupid question is the one that is not asked! The only problem I have here is the feeling of apprehension by me! I just have to jump in with both feet and ask some questions!!! I'm a retired industrial tinsmith. I taught apprentices my trade for over 20 years and always ANSWERED questions! I guess I'm not used to openly ASKING questions!

Welcome Doug! I hope you have a good amount of time on your hands, because you will soon be addicted to this forum as it will provide you with ALL the answers you need!
For the record, Rob is being modest, he knows a WHOLE LOT about suspension, and the fact that your question is regarding a 'truck', I think you'll be crossing paths with him often.

COPO-Rat (as in Central Office Production Order-RAT?),

Thank you for the welcome! Man, this old man is needing more naps from all the reading I've been doing here! LOL. I'm on 9 different G-Body/automotive & The Garage Journal sites ( I turned on my first computer and joined my first site in late 2010) so I guess you can say I'm an addict on other sites and I might as well be one here too :)! Thanks again!
