How it started: I bought it for $800 while I was in Texas for AIT with the Army.

The front subframe was trashed in a stump-jumping crash of some kind... So instead of just buying a new subframe, I decided to buy an entirely different 74 Nova for $500 for a parts car.

Sourced a 600hp 12.5:1 BBC (~468ci) from a racing boat. A wide ratio M21 from a 69 Corvette. Brakes from an 02 Camaro SS. Mini-tubbed it. And put in an 8 point cage.

The wiring harness was a fking mess from the previous owner.

Seems legit...

I just clipped out what I needed, and installed a Painless universal hot rod harness today... Totally worth the money.

Built cheap. Everything else came from Craigslist or the Junk Yard. I've got 3 different wheel and tire set ups.

One for regular road tires... mostly for hooning around and powersliding everywhere: BF Goodrich Radial TAs (235/55/15 front, and 245/55/15 rear)

The one you see here with the strip rear tires Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials (275/60/15)

I also have a set-up for Solo with a set of Nitto NT01s on 2000 Trans Am wheels.

My most recent addition... I was at the junk yard and spotted a Crown Vic police car. The bull bar had to be mine.

That things pretty crazy. May I suggest tucking the front bumper a tad. It's pretty easy you just have to notch the bumper bracket and slide it back a bit. I see if I can dig up a picture of mine

No I haven't had it down the track just yet. I have no idea what it'll do.
