Need help on my 1967 camaro RS!

I put a 1969 camaro valance panel on my 67 RS. So the problem I'm having is that I can't open my hood because the original RS latch is banging against the valance. Can somebody help me solve this problem.thanks

take off hood latch heat it up with a torch and bend it to the desired position.

Yup... Did the same mod. And that's what I did
Just bend the handle carefully to he side , and cut it alittle shorter.
Or ante up and get a cable hood release ?
