My car has a narrowed 9 inch from DSE with their quadralink and my 3 inch exhaust runs so darn tight over the axle tubes that my entire rear end housing is BOILING hot after i drive and this is worrying me along as this can not be good for the diff fluid and gears.

you can not even touch the housing its almost like touching a header or cylinder head on a warmed up engine.

i wrapped my pipes over the axle but that didnt do anything there is too much heat radiating to the rear.

looking into a diff cooler any suggestions whats worth considering?

Define boiling hot....... Hot to the touch and hot enough to fail are two completely different things

your rear end is getting hot from the gears, prob not the exhuast I am willing to guess. A cooler would be a good idea though. What kind of oil do you run? A thicker oil will help with the heat a bit.

Why not run a pump setup like nascar I think it just sprays the gears in key point location and doesnt seem hard to run.

I wouldn't worry about anything until you know how hot it's actually running.... Then plan accordingly
