Howdy folks, my name is mike, and more importantly, my car is named "Big Hulking *******" He's a 1975 El Camino with a slightly hopped up 350 (mild cam, headers, full MSD ignition, holley carb etc etc). I'm currently about 80% through a complete rewire/battery relocation, which also includes the installation of a battery disconnect and an aluminum racing dashboard. At some point in the future, he'll be getting a full suspension overhaul, new floorpans, roll cage, and new tires for the massive bassett wheels I've been sitting on for a year or so. Much further down the road, he's gonna get a procharged 454 mated to a 5 speed lenco transmission. Might do some aluminum heads for the 350 in between now and then though. We'll see.
Not sure any of this really qualifies as 'pro-touring' or not, but you guys seem to be much more interested in performance mods than a lot of the other forums I've come across, so I signed up.
