Hi i'm brand new from Sweden and i've loved cars and snowmobiles since i was alittle kid. Installed a stove for and old man 11 years ago and he asked me if i wanted to buy his corvette that's been in his garage for many years. Wasn't interested from the start quz it was an -85 but i ended up buying it for next to nothing. I've done many thing to the car for the past years and felt that it was "done" so i bought a pontiac gto clone -66 from New Jersey and had it shipped over here to Sweden.
Sits a pontiac 350 engine with 350 2step pg trans(not so exciting) in it but i got a th400 along with car and his/hers shifter.
Power disc brakes at the front and 10bolt rear with 3.55 gears. At first i was planning on buying a pontiac 400block and build my own engine but i've totally changed my mind after reading in this forum. Now i will aim for ls1/ls3 swap and new suspension.
Got some bodywork and paint before i'm planning on buying new engine/trans so i got plenty of time to prepare and really know what i get myself into when making the swap. Hopefully i can get alot of help from this forum :)
