One aspect I love about my car is I drive it to an event, compete then drive home. I get an extra bit of satisfaction out of it.

That said, I would like a little piece of mind if I get out to an event and something breaks that I am unable to fix I can still get home. I don’t want to rely on friends.

In past years I have used the AAA premiere package. This gives me one tow up to 200 miles and unlimited 100 mile tows. The average distance to the events I go to is 50 miles.

This should cover me just about anywhere I would end up. So far I have not had to use it. With the location of past races if I were to call a rollback out of the yellow pages average price would be over $300.

The AAA membership runs around $100 a year.

I am coming up of renewal and thought I would ask if anyone out there was in a similar situation how they handle this?

Every year I look to see if there is a better option available. Every year AAA wins.

If you insure though Hagerty, they have various levels of road side assistance you can choose. The insurance rates are very reasonable, and I pay less than $100 year for 50 miles of towing. I am very Satisfied.

Not sure if Premiere is unlimited 100 mile tows but your AAA club may offer it differently than ours here in California. For me, AAA is the best but check with your insurer for other options. I know that Hagerty offers Road Service as part of their insurance coverage.

I worked as a Regional Manager for AAA Emergency Road Service and Premiere is four calls per membership year. One of those can be your 200-mile tow. The other three can be a mix of a 100-mile tow, tire change, fuel, lockout, or jump start.

I agree with Mary - My Premiere is One 200 Mile Tow and Three 100 Milers
