Just heard on the news this morning that the highly decorated F1 driver has awaken from a medically induced coma that he was in due to a skiing accident. Just wanted to wish him a speedy recovery. And as controversial as the unveiling was, I still believe......he is The Stig

I need to hear more - I read the story this morning too. I had seen a report late last week that they were moving him out of ICU to a rehabilitation section of the Hospital. It's easy to read too much into these brief reports - also there have been quite a few made-up media reports about his condition.
I have a friend that is a well known trauma surgeon that said months ago that he didn't have a lot of hope for Schumacher's recovery as at that point Michael had been in the Coma for 3 Months. I hope he was wrong.

I briefly caught it on Fox and Friends this morning while doing my morning reports. They did say though that he has been released to go home so I'm assuming he's been out of the coma since, although I'm no expert, I would think they keep you for a while after coming out of something like that. They didn't specify though how long he was in the coma. The report was very short. Too much airtime taken up by the situation in Iraq and our poor Presidential leadership. Same story every morning.

Schumacher has been in a Coma for over 6 Months - he was not released to go Home but to a Rehabilitation Wing of the Hospital. He has lost about of 1/3 of his Body Mass from inactivity.
