I have a base model 1980 firebird with upgrades to the drivetrain and I would like to increase my stopping power with the lowest cost to my pockets. My question-Can i achieve this goal by upgrading stock front disc with larger rotors and larger calibers? Can I get by with this without changing the boosters? If so, what type or style do you recommend that is low cost to my pockets? In the future I would like to convert the rear drum to disc but for now I want to focus on the front. I do believe I have a size 11 in rotors on the front, i hoping to increase the size to 13in. Thank you in advance for your assistance! Any input you can provide would be deeply appreciated.
