So I decided to build my own welding cart. I couldn't find anything out there that met my needs, so I thought what the heck. I built everything out of 1" square tubing and 16 ga. sheet metal. The top shelf is adjustable with quick release pins. I incorporated two Gladiator intermediate tool chests so I had plenty of storage. After everything was completed, I sent it off to get powder coated just to make it look good. :)
Let me know your thoughts!

Here's the finished product. Powder coated red, and it stores everything I need (...or everything I have at this time).
- Millermatic Passport MIG welder
- HTP TIG welder
- HTP spot welder
- 3 Rod Guard canisters with dividers (storing up to 6 different 18" welding rods)
- Welding helmet
- Spool gun for MIG machine
- 2 intermediate Gladiator tool chests set up opposite directions (easy access on both sides). Stores gloves, brushes, misc. parts, etc.
- 4 aluminum hangers attached to both sides for plenty of cord storage
- Space on rear shelf for 2 welding tanks (1, 100% Argon for TIG, 1, 75/25% for MIG)....I'll end up upgrading (two 125 cf bottles once these run out).
- heavy duty lockable/greasable castors up front. Run flat 10" rear wheels.
- All hardware is stainless steel button head bolts,....just because.
It was worthy of it's own build thread :)
