MSD 6ALN wiring Question

Hey guys, I bought a MSD 6ALN ignition box and was wondering what the white wire and brown wire are for? I read that the white wire is the Tach Output, but I read allow the the brown is for the Tach. I'm using the MSD 85551 dist. and the MSD Blaster coil.
