I made up some shim packs that I'm going to drop in when I get to the track for auto x. Maybe a dumb question but what "feel" can I expect from a -2.25 camber +6 caster 1/8 toe out alignment. Just don't want any surprises my first run. I run -0.75 camber 5.5 and 1/16 toe in on the street.

Tracy when you toe a car out it will turn in to a corner much better, at least that has been my experience. The alignment can make a huge difference on an autocross. You will be surprised how the car reacts. Will you be at the SCCA event June 1? I plan on being there.

The more aggressive camber will make the initial turn in quicker & more responsive. It "may" make the car tighter/pushy in the middle. I say "may" because there are other factors.
Going from toe-in to toe-out will definitely make the car more responsive on initial corner turn in & have better grip in the middle of the corner too.
If you feel the entry of the corners are better ... but the middle of the corner is worse ... reduce the camber and see how the middle does.

I helped set up some SCCA ACR Neons years back and those cars called for, in race trim, like -1.25 deg toe out I believe, it was a hug amount, it allowed more turn in on inside of turns. Wore tires like a bi_ch. Guy just drove on stock tires to races, he and his wife both drove and only wore out one set of racing slicks in year. Made it to last race, left with cords just showing. So we rechecked its specs, with new tires as the original sizes were no longer made by Hoosier.
