Thanks Man... That actually is the style I'm going for. I think it's the next trend and I will definitely be different in my area

I love it. How did you make the connectors?

I like the look... Is it steel? How much does it weigh?

I made them out of aluminum turnbuckles from Lowes. I just welded the ends solid then drilled them and used clevis pins
This is the type of turnbuckle except the next size down

The air damn is steel and the splitter is aluminum. Later I want to replace the aluminum splitter with a 3/8 ABS plastic one.
It's probably about 20 pounds which isn't too bad.

Sorry here it is. This one was way to big so I went with the smaller one

Love it!! Great to be all metal and fab it yourself. That's the best way to love on a car! Could you post a close up of the turnbuckle on the car? I wanna see how you did the ends exactly. Then go to work myself!

Here they are. Im not done with the detail work on them. turnbuckles were about $2.00 each at Lowes. I welded a nut in the ends of the turnbuckle so I could use a clevis pin and I made the mounting brackets out of 1 inch aluminum box tubing. You could probably come up with a better idea than I did

Oh and don't forget to get jam nuts. I had to find the left handed threaded nuts at a smaller hardware store that sold lots of parts for big lawnmower and small tractors
