Not on the autocross yet, but I have run them on the street for years. I use 450# springs. They get a bad rep, but I have nothing but good things to say about them.

i just had qa1's in my 68 charger, the car has only done 3000miles and the front shocks shock mount are ovaled out and the bushings destroyed and the back passenger spring has a weird curve/bend in it. so i have changed to viking performance shocks, cheaper and better i have heard.

I would say 400# Springs are not enough - I would recommend 450# and maybe higher if you are going to Auto-X a lot

I auto-X my truck on QA1's - I had to go up to 550# springs before it would work well on the street and track. That was the heaviest they had a year ago but I think QA1 is now offering up to 650#. I collapsed the 450# ones in about a year. Aside from some trouble identifying the proper spring rate mine have been very reliable, I probably have about 70 events and 25K miles of daily driving on them with no failures.

I have Corvette QA1s in the front. and Aldran eagles in the back.

anyone have any experience with Aldran? Seem like great quality, even better than QA1.
