Looking at buying an LPW Ultimate rear end cover. They're a little high, about $200. I was wanting feedback on girdle covers. I found similar ones for $150 and up, but what I liked about the LPW was there's a brace that you can buy for it to strengthen up the rear more. Basically, its about $350 for the cover and brace.
Is it worth it? Any input will help.

I would NOT put any $ into a 7.5 10 bolt, I blew one up with maybe 300hp and plain-old 275/50/15 BFG radials on the street... You should be able to find a stock 8.5 10 bolt for about twice what that cover costs and will be much stronger and upgradable. If your planning for over 500hp and/or a lot of track time, I'd go straight to an S60 or a full floater 9.

If you're hell bent on going with an upgraded cover the TA Performance one will be plenty, don't think those braces are going to add any strength to the rear.

Just my $.02

Then just buy a 9" or S60. Still no point in putting $ into a 7.5.

I don't know where you priced out that rear end but wow over 1000$ for a 8.5...... Agreed don't do anything to a 7.5 and no matter what you get you better have some very serious power if you think you need a girdle like that

I am assuming the price is for a G body 8.5. Buick GNs were about the only ones I know that came with them, maybe why the price over an A body or F body 8.5.

They can be built stout but for that price and needing axles, posi etc etc might be better to buy a Moser G body 12 bolt or 9".
