Thinking about changing gears and going with an LS setup for fuel mileage and driveability. So I am considering selling my big block, but I don't exactly know how much to ask. Don't want to give it away and don't want to rip anybody off.
Here is what i have...
2 Bolt main BBC 402
solid roller Crane Cam #138021:
solid roller lifters
roller rockers
10-1 compression pistons
peanut port 454 heads (ported and polished)
edelbrock performer intake
holley 750 double pumper carb with proform main body
all ARP fasteners
motor has about 10,000 miles on it
Horsepower is questionable, I could guess, but it is simply a guess and maybe someone on here would have a better idea than I. Would it be worth spending a half day at the dyno shop to get exact horsepower #'s, or is that just a waste? Also have a t-56 6 speed to go behind it with everything needed for the install, should I sell that with it as a package or sell it seperate?
Any insight or info would be greatly appreciated!
Crane solid roller part # 138021,valve lift is .567 for intake & exhaust,duration @ .050 is 234 intake and 244 exhaust
