Check with Jaguars That Run (www.jtr.com). They have had books over the years of putting fuel injected motors in S-10s, & of course Jaguars. Lots of tips that could be used in other applications.

TOny's book "How to build GM Pro Touring Street Machines" has some of that stuff in it. Available at book stores and?

"Chevy Swappers Guide to TPI Fuel Injection" from Cartech seems to have some useful info (but I never actually did the swap). I'd probably start with Tony's book though.

to tell you the truth you can learn more on the internet then you ever could in one of those books. the JTR book is more about selling parts then telling you how to do it.

what kind of swap are you looking to do?

The only advice I can give for a FI swap is to buy two factory electrical manuals; one for the donor vehicle, and one for the host car. Spend a lot of time studying how the engine harness is integrated into the dash harness (as far as Check Engine light, gauges, diagnostic connector, etc). We did the TPI swap in my '88 SS like this, and set it up exactly as if it left GM this way. The ALDL connector is functional, along with my SES light.

Granted, the TPI is ancient history compared to the LSx-series, but I would do the same thing again if I were to upgrade.
