Ok many moons ago ie 1996 mark Stielow built the first pro tourer camaro,
me 1997 went and bought 67 camaro and thought go same route ,I'm in the uk ,friend imports vettes asked for 85 spindles supplied 96 told me they were the same, no they were not ,made my own upper A arms and altered the lowers drove ok but could not get it to sit at the right height, even after fitting QA1 shock and spring for big block, fitted camaro with 95 LT1 vette engine ,so bit the bullet and bought 85 spindles and 67 camaro upper and lower A arms found them to be 1 1/2" shorter so ride hieght is now sorted,so I thought :hmm: ,I have now major bumpsteer :drive1: when i go forward the car raises up wheels go out at the top and point out ,reverse they do the opposite,:hmm: so i go and dig out the hot rod mag and look through the artical and find he pie cut the lower arms, anybody know how he did this or how to cure this some other way ,I.m In the UK so if it a matter of some measurements please can you post them cheers paul ,car is back on axle stand again:pat:
