Hey guys,

I have been floating around here for the last 6 months or so and decided I might wanna introduce myself. So let's start with a bit about me. I am 23 years old in the navy (deployed). I don't now a lot about cars, compared to almost everyone else here, but I learn fast and I'm very handy with a wrench. I bought a 68 pontiac. It started its life as a lemans but at some point some yahoo did a GTO conversion that looks like a monkey did most of the work. Then the car was bought in Indiana and shipped to San Diego by the owner before me who made it into a 69 GTO judge.... :mad:Haha so needless to say he didn't even get half of the 20 grand he was asking for it. I'm working with a blank slate. I didn't do much to it between these deployments, except a MSD ignition system and rebuilt all 4 drum brakes.:( As of now I have a room full of parts waiting to go on. I will be building a 455 with butler built heads, forged rotating assembly, Schneider solid cam, roller tip rockers, RPM intake, double pumper carb and Doug's header. I'm going to rebuild my current TH-400, balance the drive shaft, and put an Auburn limited slip with 3.36 Yukon gears and strange shafts. I picked up a SC&C touring plus package and poly bushings set. Also got an American auto wire complete kit from summit. My plan for the exterior is to ditch the judge stuff and and some point paint it.

So, yeah... That's my baby. :D
