All of the components listed came from Jim Mulvey's 1969 Camaro "Hoover". The car was listed in several magazines. Here is a link to one. http://www.camaroperformers.com/featured-camaros/1st-gen-camaro-1967-1969/camp-0906-1969-chevy-camaro-ss/
I was told the car had maybe 1500 miles on it since the build and that included all of these components. The sbc 400 in front of it made 580 hp. Then Jim sold it to a friend who wanted a manual trans. So Jake's Rod Shop pulled it all and I bought it...on a whim. I've realized though that I am not going to be able to get to install it for a good while, so I'm going to offer it for sale and if it sells, fine, if it sits, fine. lol

On a final note if you truly believe this is what you want or need, but do not have all the funds at this moment I will with a hefty deposit hold it all for you up to 4 weeks. Possible trades include firearms, 1999-2003 VW TDI with reasonable miles...or 2006 and up Mini Cooper...sportbike...or...? Obviously if your trade is worth more I will add cash. Not really in the market for more parts at this point though. I am not prepared to ship this, but if that's your need you can always try to find a shipper on uship.com I'm in Delaware 19720.

Will consider separating things if the transmission sells first.

Keep me in mind on the paddle shifter setup.
If you sell the transmission seperate, I would be interested in everything else.

What's the HP/TQ capacity for the trans.

What's the HP/TQ capacity for the trans.
I believe Hughes rates theirs at 850 hp, and not sure on torque as it has been a while since I had the discussion with Matt, Mark's son. But its an easy enough phone call to Hughes to find out definitively. This is their standard 4L80e build.
I've had some tentative offers...anyone else want to add theirs?

Some info from Hughes...transmission is rated at 850 hp/625 ftlbs torque. I did make a mistake above though. This is not the $5000 trans from Hughes. This one lists at $2400. Open to offers.

Paddle shifter has the computer, if so which one is it

Paddle shifters (called SHRIFTER by Twist Machine) themselves do not have a controller. They use the transmission controller. In this case its the TCI unit listed and pictured above. The shifter works through that controller. If you go to Twist Machine's website and read through the description for the "shrifter" it explains this.

Looks to me like it needs the controller computer to send the info to whatever transmission controller your using. In don't see it in your pictures. Good luck with your sale

Directly from the Twist Machine website under their SHRIFTER
HOW IT WORKS: The paddle shifter works in conjunction with aftermarket transmission controllers from Compushift, TCI, Powertrain Control Solutions, Holley, Painless Wiring, GMPP, and US Shift (Baumann Engineering). It's the only one that works with all of the transmission controllers. This product does not work by itself. An electronic transmission controller is required. Like the "mouse" connected to the computer on your desk, the ShrifterŽ is an input device that sends requests to a transmission controller. The trans controller is the heart of the system, which actuates the electric shift solenoids that control the forward gears.
As I said, there is only one controller...the transmission controller. You may be confused because as one of their "packages" they offer the shrifter WITH a computer...that is the transmission controller they sell.

Aaron, I think I can help here. He's talking about the small box that comes with the Shrifter package that plugs into the TCI/other controllers. It plugs into the Manual wiring harness of the transmission controller and allows you to use a toggle switch to tell the transmission controller that you are in manual mode. It also receives the signal from the transmitter on the steering column and sends that signal to the transmission controller to tell it which gear is being selected by toggling the paddles.

Hey Chris, you are right...possibly that's what he meant. Although he was asking, "Paddle shifter has the computer, if so which one is it" which leads me to believe he meant a controller which can be any number of brands. But thanks for pointing that out.
So to be clear here...the Twist Machine Shrifter paddle shifter is a wireless setup. The paddle shifters on the steering column do not have any wires that attach. It is battery powered. It sends a signal to a little receiver which can be hidden anywhere under the dash, inside a console etc. The wiring harness from whatever transmission controller you have (in this case TCI) plugs into the little receiver. The receiver is not pictured, but if anyone needs me to get a picture I will.

YOure soooo far away. I have firearms too :( But you probably dont have a need for Benelli SBE2 or Rem 700.

The Rem 700 is awesome. I can appreciate the Benelli SBE but of course tactical weapons are my main interest. Yes, Michigan isn't exactly next door. lol

Still selling the whole thing as a package only, unless the transmission sells first. If you want just the trans its $1850. Trans plus TCI computer $2100.

I was trying to be clear about this above, but unless the trans sells first by itself I am only selling as a package.
Thanks
