Is there any way to get a 275 to fit in the front of my second gen Camaro stock front subframe and suspension components, all besides a hotckis sway bar? I'm asking because I'm tubbing my car and be running a 335 on a 12 inch wheel and would like to run either a 9.5 to 10 front wheel in the front if possible. Any advice appreciated thanks

I don't have any answers, but I'm along for the ride on this as I've wondered the same thing for some of my projects. I've also had a hard time finding any info on how Brian Finch got those monster 300+ tires on the front of his second gen. I know he has a lot of goodies but I would like to see some pics what how he did it, and what he used.

On the 2nd gen's the limiting factor is the inner fender well and the sway bar at lock. You can modify the wheel well to clear a larger wheel. Nail the back space and you can get a 10" wide 18" wheel in there no problem.

Thanks! So removing the wheel well and test fitting the tire size I want and adding material to the wheel well as needed will help me reach my goal? Any way to insure the sway bar won't be an issue?
